Puffy Painting!

     The children explored painting with a rainbow of shaving cream today.  We mixed shaving cream with paint and glue to make our medium.  I had the intentions of having the children sprinkle glitter on their papers but we ended up enjoying the sensory aspect of our project too much to care about glitter!  The children used various brushes to paint on their papers with our puffy paint.  Then they painted faces...then hands...arms...then feet!  They enjoyed stepping in the bowls and getting their toes in the squishy paint.  Then they slid with their feet on the deck from the slippery paint.  We always have a fun day when we play with shaving cream!
