Pumpkin Pounding!

     We added to our pumpkin exploration today with hammer and tees for the children to pound into the soft flesh of the pumpkins.  They enjoyed poking the tees into the pumpkins and hammering with skill into the pumpkins.  We used a variety of tools such as hammers, a wooden pounder, and a metal pounder.  Our pumpkins looked very colorful after all the tees were inserted into the pumpkins.  The children also practiced taking the tees out of the pumpkins so they could start all over!
