Stained Glass Pumpkins

The children glued on wax paper strips of orange and yellow tissue paper to make our stained glass pumpkins today.  The tissue paper is fragile so they used different techniques to apply them on their wax paper.  They found if they used their paint brushes, the tissue paper would stick to it!  Cade made a kite out of one of his tissue squares as he neatly folded the edges.  Others watched as the tissue paper would soak up the wet orange paint from their brushes.  We overlapped another piece of wax paper with glue to preserve our beautiful pumpkins to hang in the sunlight!
