Cheerio Lacing!

     Today the children used their fine motor skills to lace cheerio bracelets.  They used pipecleaners and cheerios to string together their bracelets.  We were quite impressed with Maya our youngest who seemed to pick up on putting her cheerios on her pipecleaner.  She managed to put on five cheerios by herself!  Some of the other younger children used the tactic of using the end of the pipecleaner to pick up one cheerio at a time and bring it to their mouth for a yummy snack!  The older children completed their cheerio bracelets then had fun being silly and spying through the hole before they munched away their edible delight!  What fun for children of all ages!
