Fluttering Butterflies

We made our fluttering butterflies from used dryer sheets, clothes pins, and pipe cleaners.  The floral smell from the dryer sheets filled the room and the children enjoyed the sensory smell as we painted our butterflies.  Of course the focus turned to painting their faces and the table as the children explored with their purple and yellow paint.  Alexandra made sure her ears were painted as well!  Thank you to those parents who helped contribute our supplies in our theme of the month of Recycling and Good Earth Art!
