"Little Explorers" Nature Walk 5-12-11

     We had fun today exploring our "backyard" woods.  We found many mushrooms and plants emerging to welcome spring.  The water was full of beautiful green algae awaiting the warm weather when frogs will begin to croak.  We collected feathers, a golf ball, an old baseball, along with many sticks and stones!  The children were helpful cleaning up our woods by collecting various trash along our hike.  We gave our big tree a hug as we encircled it with our hands with smiles!
