Seed Mosaic

     The children enjoyed flattening their playdough in their paper plates, then sprinkling green sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and mung beans into their playdough.  We talked about what animals eat seeds, nuts, and acorns.  The children liked breaking and pressing the seeds in their dough adding to our sensory experience.  A few seeds were tasted of course!  And little worms were made from clumps of dough.  This was a great tactile activity that was added to our ordinary playdough!
