Seed is Not Just for the Birds!

     Our sensory table was filled with bird seed today for some sensory fun.  The children scooped and poured birdseed into little containers and toilet paper rolls.  They used various tools such as spoons and ice cream scoops to gather their seed to fill and dump.  The ice cream scoops were a hit as they discovered they could make the bird seed "jump" as they pressed the handle back and forth.  The birds and squirrels were very happy today and fed well as seeds went flying across the deck for them to enjoy!
