Tye-Dye Glue Art

We used a different scientific technique than our Tye-Dye milk emulsification activity today.  Instead of using milk, soap, and watercolors, we used glue and watercolors to make our groovy art prints.  The children of course loved squeezing all the glue into our glass baking dish.  Then they squeezed watercolors from our eyedroppers into the glue.  They swirled the watercolors and glue together creating a Tye-Dye effect.  The children pressed a piece of paper down upon the Tye-Dye to create a print.  The fun of the activity was the mixing and pouring of glue as our little scientists played back and forth between the glue and watercolors.  They created some beautiful works of art from our groovy day!
