Slimey Snot Sensory Play

     Today we had fun with our "Slimey Snot" in our water sensory table.  The children played with our traditional gak but we added water for a more sensory experience.  They explored the silky, smooth substance and stretched the gak in many strings everywhere!  Long strands were tied around wrists and pretended to be "boo boos"!  Bubbles emerged from the gak as the substance was moved around in the water.  Spencer and Rylan worked together stretching one long strand of gak across the sensory table.  Cade and Prince made webs stretching out the gak across their hands.  Some even tried flinging the strands of gak as they twirled in a circle across the deck.  We thought gak was fun to play with but adding water made a whole new experience to our sensory play!
