Colander Pipecleaner Sculptures

     Today we had a fun activity creating sculptures with pipecleaners.  The children stuck colored pipecleaners through all the holes in our colander as a group activity.  We practiced our fine motor skills and hand eye coordination as the children were very focused on poking their pipecleaners in the small holes.  They also had fun twisting the wired pipecleaners in various forms.  Fred made bicycles, motorcycles, and people with the pipecleaners for imaginary play for the children.  What a fun way to spend our morning working together!
