Music Together Class 8-9-11

     Our music class was a huge success today!  Our new friend John intrigued our little ones with all his different musical instruments he brought to share.  He welcomed us singing with his guitar a welcome song introducing all our friends.  The children explored playing with rhythm sticks and singing along with John.  John got the children moving by dancing and singing throughout the house as everyone played follow the leader following John's movements.   He introduced some new songs and a fingerplay which the children loved.  The children explored with all the different instruments as we all became a group band in unison with John's singing.  I think we need a little practice!  John was welcomed a huge goodbye huge from Ben unexpectedly as he ran into his arms!  The children practice hugging themselves and their friends singing to a good-bye song.  We are looking forward to our next visit with our new friend!
