Drippy Paintings

Today we explored painting with various squeeze bottles to make our drippy paintings.  The children loved squeezing all the paint onto our butcher paper that we hung at an angle from our deck.  We also placed paper over our peanut ball to create a mountain.  The paint dripped down the sloped paper creating our drippy painting art.  The children of course squeezed their bottles empty really fast so we refilled the bottles one after another keeping up with the children!  Some of the children tried new techniques on squeezing their bottles.  Alexandra tried an over the head technique to squeeze her bottle.   The paint collected in beautiful rainbow pools and some of the children enjoyed standing in the paint.  Maya our youngest even enjoyed our activity as she played in the colorful water and crawled around the deck.  What a colorful, wonderful day!
