Music Together Class 8-23-11

     John welcomed us again with new songs and instruments.  We practiced our "Tiny Tim Frog" finger-play as we sang together slow, then sang faster and faster.  We practiced singing "Me, You, and We, and Yes, No, and Maybe" in simple rhythmic song.  The children followed John around the house on their "horses" then fell asleep quietly on the floor.  John sang "Old King Cole" as we practiced playing imaginary instruments like a fiddle and horn.  We practiced cherry, apple, banana, and berry picking as we reached up our arms to pick up high or reach down low to pick up low.  As we picked our fruit we practiced singing high and low notes. We also practiced singing simple numbers in song.  We ended our session with our good-bye song as John sang good-bye to all our friends.  Everyone hugged themselves and friends around them.  What a nice way to start our lovely day!
