Snowflake Prints!

     The children had fun today making snowflake prints with our pomegranates and oranges.  We added blue paint to the halved fruit to make our prints.  The pomegranates mixed in a little purple to add to our color blue.  They enjoyed the sensory smell of the orange juice as they pounded their orange on the paper.  The pomegranate also sent juicy seeds flying across the room!  The finished art was mostly a juicy mess of paint and fruit but we did see some interesting snowflake prints in the process.  Always remember its the process not the product around here!
