Yikes! Spiders!

     The children have explored the world of spiders in our "I Spy" box this past month.  We were able to get up close and personal with our 12 daddy long-leg friends.  The children loved observing the creepy crawlers in action as they roamed the tank.  We watched them eating, drinking, and sleeping all huddled together.  We watched them grow over the last month too, as some of the spiders matured.  When it was time to let our spiders free, we let the children observe them even closer.  Fred let the spiders crawl all over his gloves and jacket, as the children shrieked with laughter and smiles!  Some of the children let the spiders crawl on their hands and jackets!  What fascinating creatures!
