Today we used our favorite balloons in our art. The children made balloon prints as they pressed their balloons in pink, green, and blue paint. They had fun squishing the balloons into the paint or rolling them. Some of the balloons popped too which added an extra auditory element! It also taught them about pressure and how to soften or harden their grip on their balloons! Some of the children played around squeezing the balloons into different shapes. The balloons were also slippery when covered with paint. The children liked the soft, smooth texture and rolled their fingers back and forth on the balloons. What a fun way to paint with balloons!
