Simple Sign Language

     Today the children learned the first letter of their names in sign language.  They colored their papers which showed them how to sign their letters.  Everyone tried signing each other's letters as they skillfully maneuvered their fingers in complicated configurations!  We talked about why people use sign language and how some people cannot hear the things we hear.  We played a game of covering our ears to see if we could hear each others voices and noises around us.  What a fun way to introduce the world of sign language!
