What a Hoot!

     The children enjoyed listening to our story "Owl Moon" today.  They pretended to be owls and practiced "owling" and flying like the beautiful bird of prey.  We took turns holding our mama owl and baby stuffed owls, which in then turned into many imaginary adventures during the day.  We painted our "owl" pinecones white and added feathers to create our flying birds.  We also listened to a fun song on YouTube about counting owls.  What a hoot of a day!
