Fork Scrape Painting!

     The children explored painting with forks today in our art activity today.  The children smeared and mixed different colors of paint on black paper.  They drew different designs with their forks using different methods of how they angled the forks.  The colors swirled into each other creating a marble effect.  The fun was then smearing the paint on their papers with their hands and making sure their forks were painted as well.  We watched a cool clip on observing a plastic fork melt over a campfire too!  The children watched as it slowly melted and how it took on different shapes.  We also read a book "The Seven Silly Eaters" and talked about what kind of foods we like and dislike.
