Little Sprouts Philosophy

Little Sprouts provides a nurturing environment where children feel secure and comfortable. Many experiences enrich and enhance each child’s cognitive, language, social, emotional, physical, and creative growth. Children learn by doing and play is their work. A rich environment is available to explore thru their senses, which stimulates their natural curiosities. Opportunities for solitary play create avenues for children to imaginatively express themselves. Developmentally appropriate activities and experiences help guide each child through stages of growth. Little Sprouts recognizes the individual learning needs and temperament of each child and children are assisted when needed, helping them grow to their fullest potential. Children are taught valuable social skills and learn how to relate in our culturally diverse world. Morals, values, and beliefs are emphasized building a stable foundation for adulthood. Children develop a positive self-concept thru supportive, nurturing care. A healthy, loving environment thru a child’s early stages of life facilitates optimal mental and physical growth. A partnership between parents and provider helps guide each child throughout these early stages and both lend support to the child’s future.
