Sugar Cube Absorption Painting!

     We had a colorful time with our sugar cube absorption painting today!  We used different watercolor methods to play with our sugar cubes, watching as the cubes absorbed the paint and then dissolve.  We made tall towers too and watched as the paint flowed down the sugar cubes.  Colorful rainbow rivers flowed across our table and our papers were sugary masterpieces.  What a great way to use our math skills in building, science, sensory, art, and imagination today!
