We loved making our rainbows today out of bleeding tissue paper. We learned a rainbow song and talked about all the colors of the rainbow. Our table became a magical rainbow of colors as the tissue paper stained our wood! A colorful reminder of our project for months to come! For lunch we enjoyed "Rainbow" macaroni pasta with feta cheese and a colorful sauce made with vegetables of every color! The children enjoyed tasting tomato, carrots, garbanzo beans, celery, fresh basil, and raw beets for our special rainbow sauce! It was fun tasting, smelling, and playing with our colorful sauce. Macaroni's were created into hearts, stacked onto our forks, and tried to be tied into knots. What a great way to spend our day celebrating all the colors in our beautiful world!
