You're the Bomb!

Our sandy ball bomb painting was a blast!  The children helped fill the stockings with sand and I tied a knot at the end.  Sock bombs went diving into the paint containers and the children bounced the sandy ball bombs up and down on the paper. Splats of paint went exploding onto the paper leaving fireworks of paint.  We stood on chairs to get some height to make our bombs stretch and fall to the ground.  Some children bounced the bombs on their feet leaving a rainbow of colors displayed to dance about.  What a fun way to think out of the box and use our paint.  The children really enjoyed this activity on the deck where they had the freedom and space to explore with our new painting tools!
