Shoo Fly! Shoo! Splatter Swatter Painting
The children had fun painting with fly swatters today swatting their bugs on paper. We read a book outside in circle time "Old Black Fly" by Jim Aylesworth. We used the illustrations in this book as our inspiration to make our fly swatter prints today. The children picked out a bug they wanted to swat and away they went with paint flying in the air! The children took turns in groups and we sang "Shoo Fly Don't Bother Me" as children were busy swatting! I think our paintings are pieces of art!
