Building our train track together is always a group challenge with different age groups. We have the preschoolers who diligently place the track pieces in order with precision. Then we have the toddlers trying to figure out the track and lay in and out and in between of all the track with clumsiness, which frustrates some of the other children. Then we have the smallest little ones who likes to destroy and take apart any finished track they can get their hands on! With all these challenges we learn to work together, redirect, solve problems, teach discipline, build social awareness, and of course there is room for imaginary play! Who would ever think so much is learned through a choo choo!
