Last month’s visits from “Riley” the avalanche dog was a huge hit. Our friend Dano has managed to provide his time to the children once a week. We will be making a special Valentine for our friend Dano to thank him and make yummy dog biscuits for Riley. Dano has shared that he loves to hear the children scream with delight from the window when he walks up the driveway. He also loves to be in the presence of such pure souls. The children are full of smiles, giggles, and warm hugs when our friends arrive! Who wouldn’t like all that love! It has also been therapeutic for Dano to be amidst the heartwarming children. Most people tend to work around uptight adults. I think it would be therapeutic for everyone to study children and see how we should humbly act and treat one another. Maybe we could take some lessons from these children and this world would be a better place.
