Rainbow Feet Stomp!

The children had fun squishing their toes in ink and parading across our large paper.  The children hopped, jumped, and ran across the long paper on the floor.  Little feet left prints all over our floor as they stomped around on and off the paper.  Children tried to escape into the living room but I persuaded them to come back into the kitchen.  They liked seeing the trail of their footprints as they walked around.  Soon hands were covered in ink and a few hand prints made it onto our paper.  Rylan began pressing his forehead into the ink and making head prints on the paper!  The children admired their beautiful colored feet with smiles!  We tried to get Caleb to join in on our fun as I pressed one foot into the ink.  Unfortunately he freaked and preferred watching his friends parade around!  Of course our clean-up crew came into action as they asked for wet towels to clean their feet and floor.  Our whole drawer of towels were used in the clean-up process as each child had 2 or 3 towels.  Everyone worked diligently on their hands and knees cleaning the ink and footprints around the house.  They even cleaned the cabinets which were stained with color.  Our littlest Emilio loved cleaning too as he spread his towel across the floor!  Cade started ice skating with his 2 towels as his cleaning method.  This got others enthused to join in on the fun.  My floor never looked so sparkling clean! We hung our rainbow feet banner on the ceiling for all to see how much fun we had this day!
