Rainbow Pudding Paint

What is more fun than being able to eat your masterpiece!  Mixing our vanilla pudding first was a group effort.  Everyone took turns whisking the pudding or many children at once tried holding the whisk twirling it around in the pudding.  Then the children enjoyed swirling different colors of food coloring into their vanilla pudding on their papers. Of course tasting was enjoyable as they licked their paintbrushes and tongues took big licks off their papers!  Beautiful colors of blue, green, pink, and orange mixed with the cream pudding and made spectacular rainbows which the children mixed with their hands.  Pudding splattered on faces and made their hair sticky adding to our sensory experience.  Lyla stuffed both hands in her mouth licking all the pudding off.  Spencer and Rylan finger painted big strokes across their papers and onto the table.  They pretend to make train tracks as "choo chooing" echoed in the room!  The clean-up crew came into action as our paint pots and brushes were again meticulously cleaned.  Mixing and pouring water in and out of the little paint pots is a serious job that our little ones take pride in at the sink!  Again, a wonderful sensory art experience for the children.
